The FSTA Authors Forum provides a unique platform for scholarly interaction with many benefits.

Membership: The membership to FSTA Authors’ Forum (FSTAAF) is open to all authors and co-authors who have completed submission of at least one manuscript to FSTA with valid Manuscript Reference Number (MRN).

A single unit of VAU is a video/PPT file of maximum 15 seconds duration (maximum size 1 MB) that is repeated every 15 minutes. The residency period (the time over which the video will remain visible) is 90 days. Multiple units of VAU can be formed either by increasing the length of the VAU in multiples of 15 seconds, or by increasing the frequency of repetition to every 10 or five minutes, or by increasing the residency period (in multiple of 90 days).

FSTAAF Award Programmes: To encourage publication of quality manuscripts, FSTA has instituted the following awards:

1. FSTA Highest Citations Award: A prize money of Rs 1.0 lakh (Rs one lakh only) and a Citation to the FSTA author with the highest number of citations in the previous year.
2. FSTA Highest Download Award: A prize money of Rs fifty thousand and a Citation to the FSTA author with the highest number of downloads of article from the FSTA website
3. FSTA Highest Read Award: A prize money of Rs twenty five thousand and a Citation to the FSTA author with the highest number of Reads of article from the FSTA website

Terms

1. Awards will be based on self-nomination by authors in prescribed form, with valid FSTAF Membership Number
2. Nominations for a given year are considered based on the data for the previous year (January-December).
3. For Citations, data can be cumulative until the previous year (in referred journals only); for Download and Read, data of only the previous year will be considered.
4. The data entered by author in Self-Nomination Form will be verified against FSTA internal (computerized) database; wrong data will make the nomination form invalid.
5. To ensure that these awards represent quality and prestige, awards in a given category will be considered only if sufficient valid nominations are available in the year.
6. The last date of filling self-nomination form will be as announced by FSTA. FSTA doesn’t guarantee sending personal invitation for nomination for these awards.
7. Results will be typically announced during October-Nov period. The awards may be presented in an award ceremony; however, award money will be only in the form of cheque/online transfer.

Membership Fee: The FSTA Annual Membership Fee is a nominal Rs 500/ (Rs five hundred only).
